Frequently Asked Questions
Telephone advice is only offered to patients registered with our practice. There is no charge for telephone advice given for follow-up queries following a consultation. An appointment is usually advised for new problems but if the patient specifies a preference for a telephone consultation, this may be chargeable.
Some insurance companies, especially International or American policies, will cover General Practice services. When GP services aren’t covered, the policy will often cover any further tests or investigations required.
Most blood test results are available within 24-48 hours and patients will be contacted regarding their results. Following a periodic medical, patients will receive a comprehensive medical report including test results and recommendations.
Repeat prescriptions can be collected from the practice during normal working hours or can be posted to you first class. If necessary, prescriptions can be called through to a pharmacy for collection or via Pharmacierge, a pharmacy concierge service.
The practice has full disabled access.
